Sign up to join Focus Groups & Sensory Panels

FIRSt periodically runs focus groups and sensory panels to support the development and marketing of new food, beverage, and alcohol products. Our clients include small start-up food companies, medium-sized companies, and big national brands. You may be trying the next cronut, innovative child snack, or newest summer-canned cocktail.

By adding your name to this list you will only be contacted when we need to recruit consumers for research purposes. We will alert you to the type of general food or beverage item before you confirm your attendance.

You may be compensated for participation in a research group.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

  1. A research panel will run for approximately 20-30 minutes.
  2. Focus groups run for approximately 90 minutes.
  3. Some research requires a specific demographic. You may be asked to complete a 5-10 minute pre-screening survey to qualify for the research group.
  4. All testing is done at 215 King St. E., Toronto, on the 4th floor.
  5. In the past we have run focus groups and sensory panels for:
    • Wine
    • Vegan Products
    • Snack Foods
    • Ready to Drink Beverages
